Client: Holt Renfrew

About the Sample:

After presenting us with a few test-run projects, Holts has come back to ThinData's creative team and asked us to assist in all future email and microsite creative.

After designing and implementing a 3-feature email for Holts, I set about creating a contest microsite for the primary feature - Nanette Lepore fashions. Utilizing past assets, I styled the page to Holts' distinctive light look.

The original intent of the 3-model approach was for them to rotate, from top left to right, to bottom right, like flipping through a rolodex. The plan was to see more dress detail without taking up additional space.

Active Link: Holts Microsite

Client: Air Canada

About the Sample:

Working closely with ThinData's previous Creative Director, as well as an associate designer, we collaborated on an email and microsite campaign for Air Canada, entitled: Win My Dream Destination".

In this fully realized concept, the idea was a simple yet lighthearted solution, while other concepts were going for a very ethereal look.

The idea was to have, perhaps, a customized image of the traveler and destination, based on your own preferences for travel. This can be accomplished if it is linked to an email that tracks customer preference. In each instance, as the background would change, so would the shirt, hat and any other suitable clothing. In the current sample, we have our world traveler enjoying Paris. Roll over the link at the base of the image to see what would, or could, come next in the series!

Client: PetroTrac

Overview of Client/Direction:

PetroTrac is an energy - in this case gas and oil - distributor within the USA.

Utilizing a preexisting logo, I saught to create various styles that could work within such a vertical brand, while still remaing clean looking. After 3 pitches, and some other samples I had a keener interest in, the client choose the concept at left. It's simple, yet effective.

Technical:

The site's notable features are drop-down menus created in Fireworks, as well as Javascript tooltips for their location map.

Client: Enlightened Play

Overview of Client/Direction:

Enlightened Play is a distributor of creatively stimulating toys and games for youths and young adults.

Utilizing a preexisting logo, I wanted to create several wacky and fun styles that would really set their site apart from anything previously seen. In my mind, it should give off a Tim Burton-equse look and feel - but rich in color. After review of the preliminary designs, one was chosen and then scaled back in style to the image at left.

Client: Distinctive Renovations

Overview of Client/Direction:

One of the great inspirations in my life, creatively, has been my Father. His experience in home renovations and landscaping helped set the foundation for my career. With that said, I wanted to help in creating a richly inviting but relatively small promotional site for him - showcasing his greatest rennovations.

This is still deemed a collaborative work-in-progress, but I wanted to share with you the original concept I had presented. The overall look would be heavily photographic, with bold and warm solid-color tones throughout. Rounded angles would be introduced where applicable, to give some creative flare.

Stay tuned for more developments as they become available.
