Client: Lavalife - Dating Service About Client / Direction: I developed this modern style banner last year while applying for a position with Lavalife. Although the position did not pan out, I was still quite confident in this banner test. Note how the theme of strawberry is carried through, from the dress manipulation to the wine. And the tag line was also personally developed, targeting the 3 key areas of their business. While Lava's previous banners had an overly direct focus on sex, I preferred to try and sell the more subtle idea of attraction. |
| Client: Sips Media About Client / Direction: Sips Media, as you may have read in previous pages, came to me seeking not just a branding symbol, but "the full monty" in terms of add-ons. I developed stationery, promotionals, Flash and web-based buttons - shown here. In keeping with the branding theme, I created an image pack that covered a wide variety of personal and portable AV themes. The best thing about these icons is that they can be easily converted for computer icon use. |

Client: Capital Golf Center About Client / Direction: Because most of my older banners are GIF based horizontals, and most modern banners are static vertical JPG's or Flash driven, I wanted to do a mock presentation of a modern banner, rather than show off something less than ideal. In this mock, I've taken an existing brand I developed and worked up body copy and a suitable advertising tag line to boot. The result is fresh and inviting. |
| Client: HL7 Tools - Software About Client / Direction: Like the samples in section 1, HL7 desired to have several customized icons developed for their site. The theme was a direct extension of their branding, developed by a fellow designer. |
